BIOGRAPHY: Alexander Barrett arrived in New Liskeard, as a 12 year old orphan in 1931. He lived with his aunt, Eva Bailey, in New Liskeard. Was a manager of a construction company in Streetsville, ON. Retired from that company around 1978-80. He had one son.

DEATH: Mid-1990’s (Verbal interview with Richard Errol Moore, Oct. 1999) REM went to his funeral - was in a little town in the Cambridge - Hespeler area - north side of 401. Lived in a senior's residence operated by the Anglican church. His wife Laura died, he had died a month earlier. Funeral was in the Anglican church, which was located on the same property as the senior's residence where he and his wife lived. Buried in New Liskard.
